Solidarity with the Hunger Strikers

Athens, 1st November
11 refugges, 5 women and 6 men, went on hunger strike today demanding their right to reunite with their families in Germany.
Thousands refugees remain seperated with their families, trapped in Greece by the anti-refugge policies of the EU and victims of secret agreements of the Greek and German governments in order to control the “reunification imports”.

They are refugges of war, from countries like Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq that crossed the borders risking their lives and the lives of their children, who spent months in the camps, in the islands, in Idomeni, who suffered isolation in the official “structures”, who have for years lost every chance to a decent life and have been deprived of their right to work, to education and acceptance.
